★ HOW IT WORKS
$RUGGED, in plain words.
One flying rug. Everyone on the site is on it. Jump before the hand pulls it and you keep what the tag says. Here is everything, short.
01The idea
That is the whole game. No levels. No sign up. One rug, one hand, one question: do you jump now or wait one more second?
You bet with $RUGGED, the coin. Never with SOL. So to play for real, you buy the coin first.
02The tag
The big number on the tag = how many times your coins are worth right now.
You put 1,000 coins on the rug. The tag says 2.00x. Jump now and you get 2,000 back. The tag says 3.50x? Jump and you get 3,500.
The number climbs faster the higher it gets. It wobbles and dips a little on the way, like a live chart. A dip is real: if you jump in a dip, you get the dip price.
The sky behind the rug tells you how high you are. The bazaar. The rooftops. The clouds. The jets. Thin air. Space. The moon.
03Get on
- Between two rides the rug sits on the ground for 10 seconds. That is boarding.
- Pick how many coins go on the rug. At least 10. The 10% 25% 50% MAX buttons fill it fast.
- Pick the sack: $RUGGED or clay (free coins, see below).
- Press GET ON. Your rider runs out of the crowd and hops on. Change your mind? Tap cancel before lift-off.
- Boarding closes 1 second before lift-off. Too late? Press GET ON NEXT and you are on the next rug.
Your bet size is your hat. Small bet, a cap. Bigger, a beanie, a fedora, a top hat. 25,000 or more and you ride as the whale, in a bathrobe.
04Jump
Any time after lift-off, press JUMP. You get your bet times the tag number. The button shows you the exact number before you press it.
Jumped riders float down under a parachute with their number on it. The win is paid from the house bag.
05The pull
A giant hand waits just above the sky the whole ride. You only see the cuff of its sleeve. At some point it comes down, grabs the rug and pulls. Everyone still on it loses the bet.
Nobody can move it. The moment comes from a seed that is locked before the ride. The hand wears the seed's hash on its plaque: its promise. After the pull the seed comes out, and you can check it. More on this in Check a rug.
Nobody knows when. Not you. Not us. The moment comes from a seed that is locked before boarding, and a public salt that comes after: the hash of a Solana block named at boarding. The hand only wears the seed's hash: its promise. More on this in Check a rug.
- About half of all rides end under 2x. Most end under 3x.
- About one ride in 20 is pulled on the ground, at 1.00x, before it even lifts. Everyone on it loses. That is part of the game, not a bug.
- Very rarely the rug reaches 1000x. That is the moon. It lands by the flag and everyone still on is paid, up to the max win.
The pull is a photo moment. Everyone freezes in mid-air. You get a card with the number and the coin's address. Post it. Everyone does.
06The burn
The furnace on the left of the bazaar is the burn. The big number on its chimney is every coin burned so far. It only goes up.
The flame in its door is the burn rate. The chimney grows one brick for every 500,000 coins burned today.
Clay (the free coins) does not burn. Clay was never supply.
07The house
The other 90% of every lost bet goes to the house. The house is a public wallet. Its address is carved on the vault, with a Solscan link. You can watch it any time.
The house pays the people who jumped. One rider gets at most 3% of its pile per ride. All wins in one ride together get at most 30%.
The house starts empty. The dev holds no coins. Rides with real $RUGGED open once the house holds 3,000,000 coins. Clay rides from the first second.
The fee truck. Every buy and sell of $RUGGED on pump.fun pays a small creator fee. Every minute the truck checks: when at least 0.05 SOL of fees are waiting, they buy $RUGGED and a green truck brings the coins to the house. So the fee is a buy, in public.
The rug keeps a small edge over many rides: 6 coins in 100. That is the 0.94 in the math below.
Plain truth about the pile. Wins come out of the house. Big wins can make it smaller, and a crowd that jumps well can drain it. The fee truck fills it back up. That is why one win and one ride are capped.
08Clay
Clay is how you learn the pull without buying anything. Same rug, same hand, same tag. Your clay wins add clay. Your clay losses eat clay.
Clay never touches the house and never touches the furnace. When your clay runs out, the merchant tosses you a new sack at the next boarding.
Want to ride for real? Switch the sack to $RUGGED. If your gold sack is empty, the button takes you to the cashier.
09The cashier
- Buy $RUGGED on pump.fun.
- Connect your wallet (any Solana wallet). Your $RUGGED shows at once.
- Press GET ON. The first time, your wallet asks once to move that bet in. The game counts it the moment the chain confirms it.
- Your wins stay in the game for the next ride. No more confirms.
- TAKE OUT: any time. Type how much. It goes back to your wallet.
Clay stays in the bazaar. Only $RUGGED goes in and out.
10Check a rug
Before each ride the hand shows a hash. After the ride it shows the seed. The seed makes the hash. The seed also makes the rug point. So the pull was decided before you got on, and you can prove it.
- Tap any rug on the washing line. You get its ticket: the hash, the seed, the salt, the round number.
- Press CHECK. Your browser hashes the seed and compares it with the hash from before. Match = the seed is the one that was promised.
- Your browser then runs the formula and gets the rug point. Match = the pull was exactly where the seed said.
The seed is locked before boarding. Every seed is the hash of the next one: one chain, locked once, so the hash shown before a rug is the seed the rug before revealed. The salt is a public value: the seed of the rug before. That is why it looks like the hash. The salt comes after: the hash of a Solana block named at boarding. Neither side can pick the pull. The rug keeps 6 coins in 100 over many rides; that is the 0.94.
Nothing is sent anywhere. The math runs in your browser. Anyone with the ticket can run it.
11FAQ
Do I need SOL to play?
Only to buy $RUGGED on pump.fun. Bets are in $RUGGED, never in SOL. Clay rides are free.
Where does my win come from?
From the house bag. The house is filled by the part of every lost bet that does not burn, and by the fee truck.
Why did the rug get pulled right away?
About one ride in 20 is pulled on the ground at 1.00x. The seed decided it before boarding. Check the ticket and you will see it.
Can the house pick when to pull?
No. The seed is locked before boarding and its hash is on the hand's plaque. Every seed is the hash of the next one, so the whole chain was locked once. Change a seed and the hash will not match.
Why can I not bet more?
The max bet is the max win of the ride. Nobody should risk a lot to win a little. When the house grows, the max bet grows with it.
What is the max I can win?
3% of the house pile per ride, for one rider. The number is on the teller sign before you jump. If you pass it, the tag says capped and you still get the max.
What happens to clay when I lose?
It is gone from your clay sack. It does not burn and does not go to the house. Clay was never real supply. Run out and the merchant gives you a new sack.
Can I take out clay?
No. Clay never leaves the bazaar. Only $RUGGED goes through the cashier.
Is there sound?
Off by default. Tap the bell in the header to turn it on. The page remembers.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a game played with a memecoin. You can lose every coin you put on the rug. Part of it burns.
